DevTech recommends that you backup your hard disk drive before installing any new software.
DevTech further recommends that you allow the DeskMan/2 Installation Tool to automatically save the contents of your Workplace Shell during the installation process. The Installation Tool will prompt you for your decision. By doing so, you can return your system to its pre-installation condition if desired. Restoring your computer to its pre-installation condition is described in its own section.
Should a problem arise during installation, or if the installation is terminated abnormally, DevTech recommends that you use the DeskMan/2 Installation Tool's Remove Components feature to remove all DeskMan/2 components, then delete the installation directory and its contents from your hard disk drive, and finally restart your computer before attempting to repeat the installation.
