Menus - Menus are lists of items that, when
selected, usually perform some function. Menus are displayed on your

Each type of menu is discussed below:

object-related commands such as open, close, copy, shadow, as well as to
the object's Settings Notebook. Pop-up menus are usually displayed by
clicking your <
right mouse button
> on the object. A
special case of the pop-up menu is the desktop pop-up menu that gives
you access to commands appropriate only to the desktop
- Drop-down Menus - Programs will usually display a
list of drop-down menus across the top of a window, just below the title
bar. Drop-down menus give you access to program-related functions such
as file control, editing, and other program-specific commands.
- Pull-down Menus - Pull-down menus are related to
windows, and give you access to functions such as window minimize,
maximize, size, and close. These menus are opened by clicking your
left mouse button
once on the Window button at the
left end of the window's title bar.
