The Repository Notebook "Rules - Execute" Page

Use the four Execute pages of the repository settings notebook to designate programs to automatically run:

• before saving the environment;
• after the environment has been saved;
• before restoring the saved environment; and,
• after restoring the saved environment.

For example, many customers prefer to run an automated system backup routine (such as BACKACC) before they save the system environment. They use the Programs to run before processing backup page of the Execute tab to designate the backup routine they wish to use.

If you wish to include in the saved environment the files that BACKACC creates, designate them on the Include pages.
