Using the Window ID Editor to Assign Workspaces

1. Select the Base Workspace
2. Open all desired Windows
3. Open the Window ID Editor
4. Select a window in the Window list in the Window ID Editor
5. Specify the Attributes as desired.
   • For an object or an application:
     • Object ID must match or
     • Application specific window must match
   • Window title must match
   • Window ID must match

     Note : If, for example, you want any view of the DevTech folder to be open on a specific Workspace, select only the Object ID must match option, and disable the other two. Or if you wanted all windows opened by a specific application to appear in a specific Workspace, you would select only the Application specific window must match option.

6. Click on the Workspace tab
7. Select the Workspace(s) to which you wish assign the window, or select the Sticky checkbox to keep the window on all Workspaces.
8. Click the Save button.
9. Repeat steps 4-8 for each window to which you want to assign one or more Workspaces
