PERFWPSO.CMD

• Use PERFWPSO to force the Workplace Shell to save an object. This function differs from the PERFSO function. Use the PERFWPSO function to force the WPS to save the objects in a similar way as a Shut Down. This function is useful when running an unattended installation which requires a software driven re-boot (e.g. by a SETBOOT /IBD:x command).

  Note : Icon positions may not be saved if the parent folder is open (including the Desktop).

  Syntax:

  PERFWPSO Name Folder

  where Name can be:

  object title
  object ID
  fully qualified path
  ALL
  

  and Folder can be:

  folder title
  object ID
  fully qualified path
  ANYWHERE
