PERFSET.CMD

• Use PERFSET to perform a setup function on an object or all the objects in a folder (e.g. <WP_DESKTOP>).

  Some examples using PERFSET.CMD are also available.

  Syntax:

  PERFSET Name Folder setupString

  where Name can be:

  object title
  object ID
  fully qualified path
  ALL 
  ALLEXCEPT
  ALLOPENFOLDERS
  ALLFOLDERS
  ALLSUBFOLDERS
  

  ALL includes the objects and subfolders in the folder, and the folder itself.

  ALLEXCEPT includes the objects and subfolders in the folder, but not the folder itself.

  ALLOPENFOLDERS includes all the currently open folders.

  ALLFOLDERS includes all the folders within the specified folder, but not any other objects within the specified folder or its subfolders.

  ALL SUBFOLDERS includes all folders within the specified folder and all their subfolders, but not the specified folder itself.

  and Folder can be:

  folder title
  object ID
  fully qualified path
  ANYWHERE
  

  The setupString can be any valid WPS object-specific setup string or one of the DeskMan/2 private strings. The DeskMan/2 private strings are documented in the *.CF* files supplied on the distribution diskettes. Interested users should especially review the setup strings in the DM2EXT2.CF2 file, which may be applied to non-DeskMan/2 related objects if the DeskMan/2 WPS Extensions are installed.

  Note : Install the DeskMan/2 Command Line Interface if you wish to pass DeskMan/2 private strings to all objects. Otherwise, DeskMan/2 private strings can only be passed to file system objects and objects having an object ID.
