The Repository Notebook "Repository" Page

This is the first page of the Repository Set Configuration Settings Notebook.

• Use the Repository set name text entry box to tell the Configuration Image Facility how you want this repository set to be named. If you are using the Facility to backup and restore several different environments, you can use names that are descriptive to you.

  For example, if you are conducting a training seminar and you need the computer set up differently for each day, you might name the repository set containing the environment you need for the first day "Day1", the second day "Day2", and so on.

• Use the Max generations spin box to tell the Configuration Image Facility how many successive generations to save of the environment contained in this repository set. You may save as many as 99 generations of each environment. Setting the number of generations to 1 will save only the current generation.
• Use the Repository file name text entry box to tell the Configuration Image Facility the full drive, path, and file name to use for this repository set. If you are connected to a network, you can save your repository sets on the file server if you wish.
• Use the Configuration remark container to include comments in the repository set.
