Use the Restore page of the archive settings notebook to
control how the Object Manager will treat existing objects that
are being recreated.
- Select the Non-automated object restoration enabled checkbox
to allow users to restore objects manually.
- Use the If object already exists radio buttons and checkbox
to control how the Object Manager will treat existing objects:
Skip, Update, or Replace. Select the Prompt
checkbox, and the Object Manager will ask you for direction
each time it encounters an existing object.
- Select the Search entire current desktop locating object
checkbox, and the Object Manager will search the entire
desktop for the object. Deselect this checkbox to search only in the
object's original location.
- This feature is helpful if you have moved an object, but use care.
This feature may yield undesirable results if you have more than one
object sharing the same name and class.
