FixPak 6 for OS/2 Warp 4 has a problem with one of the procedures that DeskMan/2 v2.0 uses to save the WPS environment. If you have either an earlier or later version of the FixPak installed, this should not be a problem. If you are running FixPak 6, you will either see an error message regarding a problem with DOSCALL1.DLL or a problem regarding a fatal error when opening a temporary file during the save procedure. There are a number of options that you may choose from to deal with this situation.

The IBM APAR number is JR11774.

Install FixPak 7 or later (recommended).
Download (102K) (HTTP or FTP) and install the fix provided by IBM Technical Support.
Contact IBM Technical Support for the fix for APAR JR11774.
