You can solve this problem by temporarily disabling DeskMan/2's
frame controls for these specific products. To do this, follow
the procedure outlined below.
To disable DeskMan/2's frame controls for 1-2-3, Approach,
Organizer:
- Open the DevTech folder.
- Open the DeskMan/2 PM Extensions object.
- Click on the Debug tab.
- Check the "Inhibit DevTech menu" checkbox
- Close the DeskMan/2 PM Extensions application.
- Open Lotus 1-2-3.
- Open Lotus Approach.
- Open Lotus Organizer.
- Return to the DevTech folder and open the VUEMan/2 object.
- From the Edit menu, choose Window IDs to open the Window
ID Editor.
- Find the Window area (upper left) in the Window ID Editor.
- Click on Lotus 1-2-3, if it isn't already selected
- Click on the Window ID tab, if this tab isn't already selected.
- Uncheck the "Window ID must match" check box located
at the bottom of the panel.
- Click on the PM Extensions tab.
- Check the "No DevTech menu" check box.
- Click on the Save button at the bottom of the panel.
- Repeat steps 11-17 for Approach and Organizer.
- Close the Window ID Editor and the VUEMan/2 window.
- Return to the DevTech folder and open the DeskMan/2 PM Extensions
object.
- Click on the Debug tab.
- Uncheck the "Inhibit DevTech menu" check box.
- Close the DeskMan/2 PM Extensions application.
- Close the DevTech folder.
- Close 1-2-3, Approach, and Organizer.
You should now be able to launch 1-2-3, Approach and Organizer.
